Team 20s: Hala Maroc is a radio personality, artist, serial entrepreneur, and overall multi-media powerhouse. She created #ontheblockwithhalamaroc, a growing online community of creatives on the rise. Her new single “it sounds like” is out now.
Team 30s: Charreah K. Jackson serves as an international love and success coach, ESSENCE Senior Editor and author of Boss Bride: The Powerful Woman's Playbook for Love & Success on St. Martin's Press. Her informed point-of-view has been featured on CNN, The Today Show, Fortune and TIME. The Atlanta native lives and loves in Harlem.
Team 40s: Allison Silverman is a TV writer and producer. She executive produced The Colbert Report, and co-executive produced Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and The Office. Other credits include Portlandia, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and more.
Team 50: Carla Katz is a storyteller who has performed all over NYC, including at Caveat, the Fat Black Pussycat, the Magnet Theater, the Tank, MOTH story slams, and the PIT. She had a solo show called BODY PARTS in the SOLOCOM 2017 Comedy Festival and she co-produces the On the Waterfront Storytelling Series. She is a labor lawyer, a Professor at Rutgers, and a long time union leader.
Team 60s: Martha Frankel is a writer, knitter, poker player, and yenta. She is the executive director of Woodstock Bookfest and the host of Woodstock Booktalk. She runs storyslams.com seasonally in Woodstock NY. Her memoir, Hats & Eyeglasses, traces her addiction to gambling.
Team 70s: Roseann Shaiman became a mother in her 30s, and a practicing psychotherapist in her 40s. In her 50s, she became a certified yoga instructor. In her 60s, she became a celebrant joining couples in marriage. A "storylistener" by vocation, she has been inspired by Generation Women in her 70s to become a fledgling storyteller.
