No going back: Stories of moments that changed everything
Team 20s: Dominique Wynne is one of the last remaining natives of New York City. She currently works as an Art Director at BBDO and is making her solo artist debut this summer with Black, Brown, Other, a photo-essay on the alienation of people of color and the queer community.
Team 30s: Jen Kwok is a Chinese-American writer-performer who can be seen on this season of Netflix’s Friends From College. As a singer-songwriter, Jen will be releasing an EP later this year based on "Songs for One," an intimate concert series in which she has performed one-on-one for over 100 individuals.
Team 40s: Micaela Blei, PhD, is a two-time Moth GrandSLAM winner, former Director of Education at The Moth, and former teacher in Brooklyn, NY. Her solo show, The Secret Life of Your Third Grade Teacher, is returning to NYC stages in Spring 2019.
Team 50s: Trudi Cohen is a non-profit professional, currently working for Dance Theatre of Harlem. She's been storytelling all her life, but decided to take her talents to the stage only four years ago! Since then she's frequented The Moth stage, Luna Coffee's storytelling night, and now, the Generation Women stage.
Team 60s: Mary Shannon Little is a writer, lawyer, and private investigator. Her personal essays have been showcased by Visible Ink and her essays and other work have appeared in Slate, Huffington Post, the Washington Post, and USA Today. She currently is working on a memoir about growing up in the shadow of the Las Vegas Strip.
Team 70s: Susan Huggans discovered storytelling after retiring, and has since created Story City Troupe, which performs monthly in Middletown, Connecticut. In addition, she’s currently developing a one-woman show! Titled “The Way Out,” it’s an inspiring and sometimes funny account about healing from repressed traumatic memories that popped up in her 40s.
